Restaurants, Bars, & Concessions in the Park The Park View and Lawn Bar are open for dinner and drinks, and the Freehling Room is open to eligible Ravinia donors. Reservations are recommended for dinner. Ravinia Market / Café and Carts are open with hot food stations plus chilled grab-and-go, drinks, ice cream, and snacks. Breaking Barriers Festival – July 24, 26 & 27
Pavilion ticket package includes a panel discussion with dinner this evening, roundtables with brunch on Saturday, and more events. Observe Our Solar System
Before and after the performance, visit the North Lawn to join members of the Naperville Astronomical Association as they share views of the planets, moons, and cosmos beyond our Earth through their portable telescopes. Guests 21+ may also visit the BMO Rooftop after the concert for a special cosmo drink.
When Do Tickets Go On Sale? Public ticket sales open at 8:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, April 24, exclusively here at Ravinia.org. Ravinia donors receive online access to tickets as early as March 19 or during mid-April.
Lawn Video Screens This performance will be shown live on a large video screen facing the North Lawn in addition to the Pavilion and South Lawn screens.
Movie Screens The complete movie will be shown on video screens in the Pavilion and facing the North and South Lawns while the score is played live.

About the Performance
Read on Ravinia Backstage: “Aural Orrery: Amanda Lee Falkenberg transits The Moons and taps into telescopic transfixation”A space-themed concert complete with visuals and interviews with NASA specialists and world-leading experts continues the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's 2024 season at Ravinia. Chief Conductor Marin Alsop leads the orchestra in Holst's The Planets followed by Amanda Lee Falkenberg's The Moons, a symphonic suite with visuals. Audiences will see science come alive and hear from people like NASA/JPL Volcanologist Dr. Ashley Davies and retired International Space Station Astronaut Nicole Stott to Dr. Zibi Turtle, APL Lead scientist for a future Dragonfly Mission to Titan, and Professor Michele Dougherty, faculty at Imperial College London and PI on the JUICE spacecraft.
