The Pavilion

Ravinia's Pavilion

For those who like a large-scale concert experience, the Pavilion is where it’s at. Ravinia’s 3,350-seat open-air, covered Pavilion is home to the annual residence of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at the heart of the festival’s summer season, as well as to a wide variety of the greatest rock, pop, blues, jazz, and country musicians today and much more.

Seating begins a half-hour before the concert start time. Food is not permitted inside the Pavilion; however, drinks are permitted only in paper or plastic containers 24oz or smaller. Many guests choose to enjoy food and drink on the Lawn before the concert; Pavilion ticketholders may store their picnic gear along the outer edge of the seating area when entering the Pavilion.

Late arrivals can be a disturbance for fellow concertgoers. Guests will not be admitted to reserved seats after the start of the performance until there is a suitable break in the program. Late seating is at the discretion of the management.
